penne pasta dinner

yes, i was actually in spaghetti dinner last night. well, if you could call sitting behind the timpani and popping up when we had to play our indoor show being in the show. it was soooo boring for me, but after the first show it was a little better. me and michael played games on the program (thank god i just happened to find a pencil on the timp cart) and sam came and the senior drill down was awesome (katrina and amber = cool and original=] )

i really enjoyed playing the indoor show... our first performance...when dian started the hip hop groove the audience was like oh ho man yea! hahaha it was soooo cool. people are gonna dig it.

so it was fUHreezing last night. it felt good to be back in that red uniform...haha. not. really. afterwards we went out to denny's and monica had shorts on under her uniform so you could say she was pretty cold lol. the 6 of us squeezed into a booth and got a bunch of crap. i think katrina and monica are the only ones that got a real meal lol.

we debated forever on whether yorkshire (terriers) is pronounced yorkSHY-ER or yorkSURE. it's yorkSURE everybody, i looked it up in my dictionary for pete's sake. you all shoulda listened to me and the lam's! gah hahah we even asked a bunch of people cuz there was a lot of band kids there, and most of them said yorkSHYER. noooo! people and they were like so sure of themselves lol. this is not over.

so jimmy's like, hey michael save a piece of chicken at the end and i'm gonna cover it in tabasco sauce and you gotta eat it. so he takes the piece and smothers it in sauce and gives it back to michael and he just chugs it. eats it without anything for him... no one was paying him anything for doing it. he drank like 3 of our waters...oh mann that was grreeat.

so i got home at oh dark hour...then suuuundayy me, my cousin taylor, amanda and monica went to a piano concert at the pasadena civic auditorium. the 2 winners from the rachmaninoff competition from previous years played several songs and they were AMAZING. like, omg. we got chills. everyone should go to a classical concert something or rather at some point. if i could go every weekend...ahhhh i love it.

then we went to the yardhouse to eat dinner and that was really good as usual. then for our tip, we folded the money into a boat and plane and crumpled one and put it into a napkin that we fancily folded. so the crumpled was the ocean and we put the boat on it in the napkin, then we stuck 2 straws in the napkin and propped the plane up on it like it was divebombing the boat. OMG lemme just show you.

so the location is "ye old cock inn" (coaster) and the napkin in the cup is either flames or a building. ok we are so weird. but it was funny as hell.

when we came out of the concert it was super windy, and then after dinner it was windy, and now i'm hearing stuff outside my window flopping around. when did this happen?!

after dinner we went on a confusing adventure to find monica's family's home for a new year's party. then we took amanda home. then taylor took me home. ahh that was a fuuunn day! thanks guys!

ooooh my gosh i just got back from outside cuz our tarp thingy on our back porch just totally fell sideways so we had to tie it down and everything! i had to move my car cuz it was so close to hitting it! gahhhh
