a week past
wow so i've been in band camp for the past week, and it was hard work. dirt, e-hevrywhere. dust in the contacts is always refreshing. sweat in the sun and sore legs is a must.
but kevin shaw is the best tech ever and we're gonna be so good this year and he's really gonna help us guys! phrase...play the music, not the notes...get your bach on!
jana and me are gonna pump *clap* you up! and connie and angela are way cool and thanks for playing music on your speakers and for being funny and im so glad i got to know you more. good luck with ap english!
this was definitely an awesome last band camp for me. funny, exhausting, fun, emotional, laughter, hard work, bonding, friendship...just so many good things and i cant believe it's over. i love you all.
so i went to palm springs from band camp with my family to meet the rest of them down there. we went down the other side of the mountain and it was real purty. i slept on the way there, then slept for about 4 hours once i got to the condo. then woke up at 6:45 this morning. ps was a billion degrees and taylor's friend, darren, from new zealand came cuz he's traveling around north america and he's superly cool and awesome and doesn't like peanut butter.
it started pouring and thundering and lightninging in ps, which is pretty rare, and there was an earthquake...i haven't felt one in years! so that was just perfect that darren came to palm springs aka desert heatville when it was raining.
i got home tonight, ate at big boy on the way home. it was good, hadn't had the classic burger in a long time. i started unpacking my suitcase, i did pretty good. uploaded pictures...pitsters, it should be up by tomorrow!
school starts on tuesday so i need to get some things in order! omgah!
oh and chapstick is the #1 must have at band camp.
