let's just get right into it

ah i'm so jealous of my cousins...they're going to coachella this weekend and onerepublic is playing! and daft punk and depeche mode and scissor sisters and all these bands that i rarely listen to but would love to see!

ap tests next week! spanish on tues. and theory on wed. o-m-g. Am i prepared? i don't know. what more can i do? i've been speaking to people en espanol the past 2 days y it's helped un poco. pero why haven't i been practicing the whole ANO?! seriously how tonta can i be? i think i'll do okay, but i hardly ever do well on the listening portions... oh well. so i'll be at the racetrack tuesday morning!

and music theory. let me just say, this class NEEDS to be a year class. it's unbelievable that it's not. a protest is in order. i think england said something about they're gonna add a new music class and/or make this one a year class. GOOD. because we are not ready enough. we're on what...ch 19 of 28? and we've skimmed through most of it just to hurry along. do we even know what modes are? twelve tone rows? retrograde inversion? not most of us.

in a happier note, DAYTON WAS AWESOME. i'm gonna go back every year of my life. haha well, just next year. aw crap then it's over! oh man i'm thinking way too far into the future. well, yes, just plan on seeing me there next year with all the cool cats from arcadia. lol

it was humid, rainy, sun-tan lotion sunny, thunderstormy...all SORTS of weather changes. We practiced at this junior high by our hotel, so that was nice having somewhere to play. except loading and unloading the trailer EVERY time got to be...arduous. (did i use that right? lol) plus the creepy silouhette in the window.

comp days were awesome, just walking around getting free stickers, seeing other groups perform, watching other groups in the lot... i love that time of year!

keyboard auditions and practicing is coming up...ahahah it's monday! ahhh i just realized. it's all good! soy nerviosa, un poco. but i'm SO stoked to be getting back into it. i HAVE to do percussion no matter what.

ahah jim gaffigan was on conan last night with another installment of pale force! it's a cartoon he's been making, and if you haven't seen it, it's really funny. saving the world with their paleness. lol

aghhhhhhhhhh i'm gonna go to sleep or something. i haven't been getting much sleep lately, and this is my first free weekend in a while a la causa de drums. i'm so relieved.
